Functions: Researching fishing technology, socio-economic and fisheries management.

Tasks:

1. To do research on application and improvement of fishing gear and materials used in marine fisheries. Developing national standards, national technical regulations, and economic - techniques norms in the field of fisheries;
2. To do research on fishing technology consistent with the object and fishing ground;
3. To do research on fisheries social-economic; Planning and developing sustainable fisheries;
4. To do research on organizational models of production, and efficient fishing on the sea;
5. To do researchi on engineering vessels, fishing equipments, the solutions to modernize fishing vessels and the sustainable fishing;
6. To perform other duties as assigned by the Director of  Research Institute for Marine Fisheries.
