Objectives: * General objectives: Building up technological processes of fishing and preserving the ocean squid to improve exploitative efficiency and reduce post-harvest losses. * Specific objectives: - Assess some biological characteristics and distribution attributes of the ocean squid (Thysanoteuthis rhombus) in Vietnam Sea - Propose technological processes of exploitation and primary processing, preservation of the ocean squid (Thysanoteuthis rhombus) on offshore fishing boats Vietnam Sea, including: + Process of fishing technology of ocean squid in Vietnam Sea with a fishing capacity of ≥50 kg/day. + Technological process of primary processing and preserving of ocean squid on offshore fishing boats, with quality of product classified at the 1st grade ≥30%; time of preservation at sea ≥ 20 days, ensuring food safety. + Build up a design on installation of system for exploitation and preservation of ocean squid on offshore fishing boats. Content: - Content 1. Research on some biological characteristics, distribution attributes and exploration of fishing technology of the ocean squid in Vietnam Sea. - Content 2. Research on fishing technology of the ocean squid and preservation technology that is suitable for fishing boats in Vietnam. - Content 3. Propose processes of fishing technology and primary processing and preservation technology of the ocean squid on offshore fishing boats in Vietnam Sea.
