Content

Objectives: - General objective: Building up a technological process of living squid preservation (cuttlefish and sepia) from fishing to consumption in order to reduce post-harvest loss and improve product value. - Detail objectives: + Profiles of equipment design and construction for acclimatization raise, transportation, living preservation (cuttlefish and sepia) from offshore fishing boats to consumable places. + Building up a technological process of living squid preservation (cuttlefish and sepia) on offshore fishing boats: Survival rate ≥ 85%; Squid can swim and healthy. + Building up a technological process of acclimatization raise and transportation of live squids (cuttlefish and sepia) from fishing ports to consumabe places: time for acclimatization raise takes about 10 days, survival rate ≥ 85%; Squids can swim and healthy; ensuring quality and food hygiene safety. + 01 model will be built up successfully by application of technology of living squid preservation (cuttlefish and sepia) from fishing boats to consumption: Scale ≥ 150 kg; Survival rate ≥ 65%; ensuring quality and food hygiene safety. Content" 1. Assessment of the status of exploitation, preservation and consumption of living squids. 2. Design and construction of a system of equipment for living squid preservation. 3. Research on preservative techniques of squids from exploitation to consumption. 4. Making trials by application of technology of living squid preservation (c cuttlefish and sepia) from exploitation to consumption (scale of 150kg/model).
