Content
1. Collect and update oceanographic, fishery and fish biology data from survey, monitoring, fishing log and marine remote sensing to serve to verify the forecasting process and supplement the new data system on oceanography to study fishery in the offshore waters of Vietnam. 2. Selectively conducting research on biology and ecology of the main objects of offshore fishing (yellowfin tuna, bigeye tuna). 3. Researching and completing the system of data processing tools, tools for forecasting oceanic fields and forecasting fishing grounds. 4. Research and develop models and procedures for forecasting hydrological fields in the East Sea and calculate marine thermal structure and low-level biological productivity as inputs for forecasting fisheries (for 30 months, from 5-2013) until October 2015). 5. Research and deploy models and processes to forecast offshore fishing grounds for 1-year, monthly and 7-10-day term in the period 2013-2015, verify the process, investigate and evaluate its effectiveness forecasting and completing technological processes for fishery forecasting. 6. Research solutions to deploy application of forecasting process and build a model to apply fishing field forecasting technology in tuna fishing with high efficiency.
