1. Objectives - Selecting 1-2 strains of good quality seaweed. - Proposing orientations and solutions to develop seaweed farming in the Northern provinces. 2. Activities Task 1: Research, evaluate the current status of resources, grow, process and trade seaweed products in the Northern provinces. - Researching, assessing the current status of resources, growing seaweed in the Northern provinces. - Researching and evaluating the current status of processing and trading of seaweed products in the Northern provinces. Task 2: Research on the selection of good quality seaweed strains. - Researching and selecting good quality seaweed strains. - Building data on good quality seaweed strains. Output
- 1-2 strains of good quality seaweed (Agar task > 25% of dry weight; agar coagulation capacity (at 1% concentration at 20 degree celcious and > 250 g/cm2) - Report on assessment of the current status of resources, growing, processing and trading of seaweed products in Northern provinces. - Report on proposing orientations and solutions for seaweed development in the Northern provinces. - Summary report - 01 journal article
