* General objective: Assessment the current status of marine stock, habitats of aquatic species and commercial fishery in Ben Tre province and proposing solutions for protection and development of the aquatic stock and habitats; management and development the commercial fishery in Ben Tre in a modern, sustainable and responsible trend. * Specific objectives: + Assessment of the current status of marine stock in coastal and offshore waters of Ben Tre province + Assessment the current status of the habitats of aquatic species in coastal and offshore waters of Ben Tre province + Assessment the current status of commercial fishery in Ben Tre province + Drawing maps/diagrams for aquatic stock and fishing activities in Ben Tre waters + Proposing solutions for protection and development of the aquatic stock and habitats; management the commercial fishery in a modern, sustainable and responsible trend in Ben Tre Content: + Content 1: Investigation and assessment the current status of marine stock in coastal and inshore waters of Ben Tre province + Content 2: Investigation and assessment the current status of the habitats of aquatic species in coastal and inshore waters of Ben Tre province + Content 3: Investigation and assessment the commercial fishery in Ben Tre province + Content 4: Set up the database, maps/diagrams relating to the aquatic stock and fishing activities in Ben Tre waters + Content 5: Proposing solutions for protection and development of the marine stock and habitats; management the commercial fishery in a modern, sustainable and responsible trend in Ben Tre
